DTN/The Progressive Farmer partners with TeraVista Systems to offer customers a more efficient way to enroll, manage and profit from agriculture-based carbon credits
November 20, 2009 – Telvent (NASDAQ: TLVT), the IT company for a sustainable and secure world, announced today its partnership with TeraVista Systems to license the ClimateSuite™ enterprise platform. The partnership allows farmers participating in the carbon economy a simple online solution to manage emerging carbon offsets and increase profitability. The online tool, available to DTN/The Progressive Farmer subscribers in early 2010, will eliminate complex work associated with managing carbon offsets by automating the enrollment, verification, registration and aggregation process, and facilitate interaction with carbon credit exchanges.
