TeraVista Systems Partners with The Institute for Technology Development and University Illinois Chicago, Energy Resources Center

SAINT LOUIS, Missouri - September 22, 2008 - TeraVista Systems announced this week that it will be working closely with The Institute for Technology Development (ITD) and The University Illinois Chicago, Energy Resources Center (ERC) in a joint research project. The project will concentrate on conducting geospatial analysis for carbon offsets. The research will help TeraVista analyze and validate carbon offsets for agricultural land based credits. Both research projects will help the ITD and ERC in their pursuit for geospatial analysis as well as TeraVista’s product development.

The Institute for Technology Development public-private partnerships are created to drive the research and commercial objectives of this work. ITD personnel apply cutting edge and creative image analysis techniques to extract knowledge from imagery that can support a decision about a target contained in the image.
