Dr. David Schertz Joins TeraVista Systems Advisory Committee

St. Louis, Missouri - September 17, 2008 - TeraVista Systems announced today that Dr. David Schertz, former president of Schertz Consulting Company, was elected, as an advisory committee member and consultant to the company. Dr. Schertz organized and managed his own consulting company which emphasized conservation issues such as promoting the use of no-till farming methods, conservation alliances, developing soil erosion prediction training materials and providing training, and making presentations. Prior to Schertz Consulting Company, Dr. Schertz was a Certified Crop Adviser with the International Certified Crop Adviser Program of the American Society of Agronomy. He also served as the NRCS representative on the International Certified Crop Advisers Board of Directors.

Dr. Schertz will bring over thirty years of experience in soil conservation and agronomy to the TeraVista soil verification solutions team. As an expert in soil conservation and no-till policy, Dr. Schertz will assist the management team at TeraVista Systems with protocol interpretation, policy within the registries, and sequestration procedures for the carbon offset markets.
